      behind_______the_______clouds
          and___way___up___farther
              on_the__sun,__it_was
                     always_day
              where_way_up_further
          our_______daily_______sun
      was________to_________object
in_______some________starry_______night

it_____ was_____a_____casual______night
   in___which___objects___would___star
           shining_____their_____way,
               down___________far
                  And just like here...........................Then_____she____was____as_____happy
               some__________days............................as_________the_________moment
           the_star_that_shines_us_day...........................could______make______her
       may________be________unseen..............................wanna___________be
down_______there,_____by_______clouds............................dancing_____in
                                                                                the___space____given
                                                                             seized__by__well__motioned
                                                                        steps_____carefully_____measuring
                                                                    the__give___or__take__back___and__forth

                                                                    Forward,__backward_from_thoughts__within
                                                                         her____shine_____would____reach
                                                                            beyond______hazy______gaze
                                                                                  to___come___without,
The_____eye____of_____the_____dreamer...........................ever being unseen
    becomes___one__with__the___dream............................that______nutcrackers
         dormant_____________realities..........................don't_______wear_______suits

Round____and____round____they____float
    over________planes________unseen

there's_no_doubt_where_dreams_come_from






but where they go ...
seen or unseen so
by clouds that shroud
or light ...
that outshines the vision

I leave …
whilst my eye
on a passing moon
though focused on stars beyond

I leave …
crying rivers
or standing tall like trees
finishing what’s undone

I leave …
to dream
and weave
realities of either side
to one

These were the words I tried to frame the picture painted by ~echo-si in, they came but too easy. So I dug deeper into the material in front of me and was caught by a motion of contraction and expansion, call it breathing, call it dreaming, call it the power of naïvety ... To me it's my belated birthday present to Meghan and for all; this is not meant to understand, overstand would be more properly.

Holy Jeeheeheeheezus.

I have seen a LOT of unique formatting for poems, but NEVER one like this. And the words knock my head around until my brain flies out and floats like one of the butterflies on your page....

this is a wonderful poem with great vivid word usage. beautifully written. however, i couldn't follow the sentences as they started to branch off across the page. it's just that i didn't know if i should've continued to read across or go down the column. but i navigated my way. i like your innovative style of making the words into a pattern. very nice.

haha! this was a great read and the picture complements it really nicely. I love the format and that you could read down or sideways and it sounded just as amazing. I like all the dreamy images and the lines "the eye of the dreamer becomes one with the dream" and "Forward backward from thoughts within. her shine would reach. beyond hazy gaze.
